Sadiq Khan already suffering crisis on day one of new mayoral term

There are always several rich people who threaten to emigrate as a result of their favoured stooge not winning an election. In the instance of this week’s London mayoral election, there’s one who may follow through on his threats. Not because he’s a man of principle, but because recent events mean this man is considerably less rich than he once was. In other words, he may be using Sadiq Khan’s election as cover for the fact that his legal woes have priced him out of the capital:

Cry hard

Fox’s wailing and gnashing of tweets didn’t end with the above; he also spewed this into the world:

So I guess being okay with Muslims is a firmly established British value then?

Aren’t people like Fox always arguing that those who don’t believe in British values should leave? Perhaps that really is the reason he’s leaving London, and not the massive financial blows he’s suffered.

Some of the responses to his tweet were very funny anyway:

Are divorced men an under represented minority in our political system?

They’re certainly not in the field of ‘angry newspaper columnist who’s terrified of everything’.

Fox also said this:

This segues nicely into the next loser we’re looking at – namely Australian immigrant Dan Wootton – a man Fox was pally with at one point:

It will be a shame to lose Wootton, who I’m sure will be leaving as a result of the AI-generated chaos, and not as a result of the many accusations which have been following him around. These are accusations we should note he has been legally cleared of – much like the legally-cleared accusations against Kevin Spacey, who Wootton coincidentally interviewed this week:

Poor and/or poorly received

It’s been a hard year for divorcee Fox, as reported by the Independent:

Laurence Fox has been ordered to pay a total of £180,000 in damages to two people he referred to as paedophiles on social media after losing a High Court libel battle.

The actor-turned-politician was successfully sued by former Stonewall trustee Simon Blake and drag artist Crystal over what Ms Justice Collins Rice described in her ruling as a “distinctly homophobic” libel.

This reporting is unfair to Fox, as the “turned-politician” part implies he successfully entered the world of politics at some point.

He did not.

In some instances he wasn’t even successful at entering the race he’d inevitably go on to lose:

Fox did manage to fill out some forms correctly, much to the horror of his bank balance:

As reported by the Standard:

Laurence Fox has lost his £5,000 deposit after securing just 0.005% of votes in his attempt to become a London Assembly member.

Mr Fox had already been barred from taking part in the London mayoral elections after submitting invalid nomination papers.

But the actor-turned-right-wing political activist did manage to correctly submit his papers to be a candidate for the London Assembly.

Mr Fox polled just 0.005 per cent of the 2,493,805 votes cast for the London-wide assembly members.

He received 13,795 votes, below the threshold required to have his deposit returned.

As can be seen in the tweet below, Fox sees himself as a man of “the people”. The question is ‘which fucking people’? Because it’s certainly not those of voting age:

Nobody’s men

Fox would undoubtedly argue that ‘the people’ no longer live in London, which is why he’s moving. If he is going to say that, he should put his money where his mouth is and run in an area where these mythical people exist.

That shouldn’t be too hard, should it?

Unlike many right-wing celebrity agitators, the increasingly cash-strapped Fox might literally be able to fit all his money in his mouth at this point.

We don’t know if that would help his electoral chances, but it would spare him the indignity of losing his banking provider for not having enough funds, as happened to Nigel Farage (another man of the people who struggles to find people to vote for him):

Farage’s Reform UK performed dismally in the local elections. As you’d expect, the seven-times-failed MP Farage is blaming the quality of UK voters:

Unlike Fox, Farage did at least have the sense not to run. This was a shame, as whenever Farage suffers a heavy political blow, it’s always accompanied by people tweeting this image:

Say what you will about Farage, but the man can take a beating. He’s made a career out of it, in fact – arguably several careers at this point, as he struggles to hold down a job:

It’s a career trajectory he shares with Fox and Wootton:

The reverse blitz

Will London be able to survive an exodus of it’s worst residents? You’d imagine so.

While we agree with the general point that this country is going to shit, it’s not happening because of immigration or wokeism; it’s happening because of a crooked political system that exists solely to transfer wealth from the public good to the private bad.

Given the ethos of all the main parties in the UK, these latest elections won’t change that, and neither will the upcoming general election. Things are going to change one way or another, however, as you can only remove so many Jenga blocks before the tower collapses. It’s on all of us to make our voices heard before then, and to make it clear we don’t support the fire sale of the UK’s wealth.

While this push for justice is vital, it’s also important that you keep yourself sane. As such, don’t feel bad about taking the time to laugh at the misfortune of those who deserve it:
