Things to Do in Dawlish
If you’re looking for a great coastal town for a traditional seaside holiday then Dawlish is the answer. With sandy beaches, family attractions, amusements, walks, cycle routes, mini golf and relaxing gardens there’s lots to see and plenty of things to do in Dawlish and Dawlish Warren.
Such is the guff spilled out by the Visit South Devon website. What they don’t tell you is that for a small town it has a lot to say. Mostly connected with whatever poison the Daily Mail are peddling at the time, which is almost always right wing bollocks. In fact what it should read is:

Known locally as “Birmingham on Sea”, you can experience all that is great about that great city whilst sampling the delights of ignorance, bigotry & racism from both the Northern & Southern reaches of this green & unpleasant land.
I knew that I was in for a real cultural feast when I first moved here in 2016 and met a local by the name of Dave (Browner) Brown who stated quite freely, and I quote “I don’t like niggers“. When I asked him why he could only reply “I dunno, I just don’t“………
